Life Coaching, Acupuncture, and Herbal Medicine
Nyssa Green L.Ac
My goal for our therapeutic relationship is to empower you to manifest the health and abundance you want in your life. I am here to support you.
In a session with me we will work together to identify the root cause of disharmony in your body. The beauty of East Asian Medicine is that even the most complicated diagnosis can be broken down into its parts, and by working to bring balance to these underlying patterns, healing is possible. My primary focus in treatment is to restore proper flow of Qi through the body and bring about a feeling of groundedness. To this end I use a lot of direct feedback methods, checking the way your pulse, pressure points, and pain respond to treatment so I know if we are on the right track with your healing. As an acupuncturist I see many patients come into my clinic with pain and disability, and there’s little I love more than seeing their joy—and shock—at how much their pain has reduced after our sessions together. While East Asian Medicine is most well known for treating musculoskeletal pain, through my clinical experience and my studies I have become passionate about a few special areas of treatment, most notably Womb health, GI health, and psycho-spiritual health (as it relates to trauma and stress management).
It is my fervent belief that much of what we put up with as “normal” around menses/Moontime, around our digestion, and around the ways we experience stress is not necessary for us to live with. If you are struggling with discomfort and/or dysfunction, you deserve support. I think you’ll find that healing is possible and it would be my honor to walk this path with you.
